1. Where do I meet with a Community Connector?
When your enquiry is received, a Connector will contact you to organise a meeting at a time and place of your choosing. This could be by phone, online, in your home or in a public location such as a local café or library.
2. Are there activities/services that I can engage in remotely/online?
Yes! Our Community Connector will discuss available activities to you to find the one that suits you the best.
3. What if I change my mind about participating in the program?
We hope that our program is beneficial, but you can decide, at any time, that you would like to stop meeting with a Community Connector or participating in activities/programs.
4. I am younger than 65, can I participate?
Our Community Connectors are available to support older adults. If you are not yet 65 you can still use our Community Directory, or you could search for services/activities on the Ending Loneliness Directory, AskIzzy (askizzy.org.au) or Glen Eira City Council.
5. Is the program free?
Time with our Community Connector is free, however there may be costs for the community activities that you choose to participate in.

Yes. All information you share with us will remain strictly confidential. You can read our privacy policy here.
8. What if I live outside of Glen Eira?
If you are not strictly within the Glen Eira local government area, but are nearby, then please still get in touch.
9. Who are the Community Connectors?
Our Community Connectors are trained healthcare professionals, with an in-depth knowledge of local activities and resources. They will listen to find out what’s important to you, so together you can make a plan that links you to local services and activities of interest to you. The Community Connector will be there to support you along the way.
10. Do you cater for cultural and personal diversity?
Yes, our Community Connector will talk with you about what you want to do, and find local services and activities that most closely fit your needs and preferences.
